Easton Corbin releases new single and video "Somebody's Gotta Be Country"

“Somebody’s Gotta Be Country” was written by multi-award winning songwriters Ashley Gorley, Dallas Davidson and Rhett Akins.The video was directed by Dusty Barker.

“When I heard ‘Somebody’s Gotta Be Country’ I felt like it was written about ME, and I knew it was one I had to record,” said Easton Corbin. “I am really excited about this new music because I feel like it’s taking me back where I want to be - back to my roots. The video for this song also captures me in my true element, and where I am in my career right now I think it’s more important than ever for me just to be myself and to capture that in my music. This song and video does exactly that.”

On Tuesday morning, Corbin world premiered the song live on Sirius XM’s The Highway with Storme Warren before hitting THE STAGE, the honky-tonk on lower Broadway in Nashville, TN, later that evening to perform for a packed and standing-room-only crowd of fans, industry and media who arrived eager to hear Corbin’s new music. The Florida native rocked the packed honky-tonk performing some of his biggest and most well-known hits including “A Little More Country Than That,” “Roll With It,” “Baby Be My Love Song,” and “Are You With Me” as well as giving the crowd a preview of his new songs including the new single “Somebody’s Gotta Be Country,” “Turn Up” and “HonkyTonk Land.”
